Data Conversion
The Centaur® Data Platform Convertor is a crucial component that automates the transformation of healthcare data from various formats, such as CCDA, CSV, HL7™ messages, JSON, and XML, into the FHIR® specification. This powerful feature ensures that data originating from disparate systems is standardized, enabling seamless interoperability across healthcare applications.
Core Functions:- Multi-format Data Conversion: The Convertor handles a variety of healthcare data formats, including HL7v2.x and 3.x, CCDA, JSON, XML, and CSV, mapping them to their corresponding FHIR® R4 resources. This process guarantees compatibility with modern FHIR®-based systems, which is critical for downstream use cases like quality analytics, risk adjustment, and API-based interoperability.
- Mapping Templates: Predefined templates are used to facilitate the transformation, reducing manual work and accelerating the data conversion process. Users can also modify or create new templates based on unique business needs.
- Error Handling and Retries: The Convertor logs and tracks any transformation errors, enabling users to retrigger failed conversion processes. This ensures no data is lost during the conversion, preserving the integrity of patient information. In cases where transformation issues arise, errors are directed to specific folders for review and retry attempts are scheduled automatically.
